We booked a table for 9 on 23rd December while staying in a lodge on Summer Lake. The atmosphere was vibrant and quite noisy , the service was very good and the food was also good , however the choice of drinks was very poor as they were out of many beers and lagers .The reason given that they were closing early January , better planning for the future maybe !!!!

Really liked the place. Ate there with a friend today at lunch. Although it s raining today, the view on the lake is really nice, the place is simple, modern, nice in my opinion, clean. We got both Caesar chicken salad and they were really big, with really much chicken, no scam here with small portions. We also add squids to share and it was also a large portion. It was good, and really filling, for a very reasonable price (14.5 for the big salad bowl). Service was quick but we were the only customers with a lady, so might be different when crowded!

I have visited 4 times this year for breakfast and every time has been lovely. Excellent location right by the lake. Dog friendly. Lovely breakfast menu. Great service. Recommended to book. Parking on your doorstep. My daughter took part in water-skiing(pre bookable) which we could watch from the terrace. Will visit again

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was great.We have been more than happy with the ladies which served our table. We felt spoiled by the waitresses. Thank you for your fantastic service and food. Atmosphere was amazing . It's a superb location with the beautiful lake. There is only one issue with this place toilets are disgusting, dirty. Broken Toilet seat and no toilet paper in the ladies. Parking: It's really difficult to find the parking space as is very small parking

Good pleasant dog-friendly cafe on the water’s edge. We came for afternoon coffees. They were of good strength and came with a biscoff biscuit. Downsides are the toilets (cold, outdated and dirty) and quality of the staff (slow making drinks and two tables remained uncleared yet the staff weren’t busy - we were the only people in the cafe so it was strange to see tables left uncleared). I’d recommend it as a place to come, and it was great to see the water sport activities you could do from the cafe.

Wow what service! We arrived here by chance on a walk and were treated so well. we weren’t the easiest customers- kids, wheelchair, gluten free, moved seats twice and honestly nothing was too much trouble. Gemma and her team were great! AND the food was gorgeous!

Great restaurant next to the lodges where we stayed. We went there twice and had lunch and breakfast, on both occasions it was delicious. You can sit outside or inside, as the weather was good we sat outside to admire the view. This place is dog friendly. Thanks to all of the staff for their hospitality and making us feel welcomed

Visited the restaurant with a group of 15 we pre ordered The food all came out together and was correct, the quality of the food was good The lady that serviced us (didnt get her name) was very attentive, had a great sense of humour and remembered all our drinks! The view of the lake was perfect for a summers evening The toilets could do with a bit of updating

Great place, great location, great food and great staff what else could I say , it was a really nice chill experience with laughter all around. Being so close to the lake was lovely gives a holiday like vibe this is a must try and will be returning back. Parking: Easy parking out side always a space when I go there so there must be plenty of parking , or if you live close by this is an easy bike trip too.

Excellent views of the water, great ambience, and food was good. Fish n Chips, Ski Club Sandwich, and Chicken wings were all delicious. I'd rate these all about 4/5. However, the let down was the burger - the patty was cooked well-done, rendering it tough and dry. It also looked as though it contained a lot of binders which made the texture rather gluey and unappealing (see photo of cross-section). This is a clear 1/5. The burger was the main distraction from what was otherwise a good meal. We would recommend this place, save that the burger be avoided.
