I remember coming to a couple of Youth Club dances here to a local band that had Stuart Williams (Ashton Keynes) in it. A local bad boy Eddie Kent took exception to me and chucked me in the Churn River.
Also school with Nina Maidment and Olwen whose dad ran the chip shop.
Where did all the Water Parks come from? The wildlife wonderland of my youth must be gone. Still it has made some locals richer and
created loads of jobs I hope.
I'm just glad I got to enjoy it for two magic years in my youth.
All the same the Google Maps are great because you can actually look at area and see the changes.

Great little hall. Parking on the road but a lovely building, with its own little stage.
